蛛网膜下腔或硬膜外阻滞的病人，止血带超过数小时后，可感到远端肢体疼痛或烧灼感，有时静脉使用吗啡类镇痛药也无效。但放松止血带后便可缓解，这可能与细胞内酸中毒有关。用长效局部麻醉药做完善的臂丛神经阻滞，即使3—4小时的手术也不会引起止血带疼痛。等比重的腰麻比高比重腰麻发生止血带疼痛的机会少。
For patients with subarachnoid or epidural block, after tourniquet for more than a few hours, they may feel pain or burning in the distal limbs, and sometimes the intravenous use of morphine analgesics is ineffective. However, it can be relieved by relaxing tourniquet, which may be related to intracellular acidosis. Long acting local anesthetics are used for complete brachial plexus block, and even 3-4 hours of operation will not cause tourniquet pain. The incidence of tourniquet pain is less with isospecific waist anesthesia than with high specific waist anesthesia.
